A portrait I shoot of US Ambassador to Zimbabwe Harry K Thomas Jr for a story for Foreign Policy.
With one in seven adults living with HIV, Zimbabwe has one of the highest prevalence rates in the world, a situation aggravated by a major shortage of public health workers and serious economic challenges. Yet despite the difficulties, 1 million Zimbabweans living with HIV are now receiving antiretroviral treatment. Pictures I shot for the 1 million people on ART milestone published on the UNDP exposure stories.
A short story I shot about the incredible work of the Friendship Bench Project in Zimbabwe. This project is helping many people combat mental health problems by training grandmothers in the community to offer a listening ear to people in need.
